2021 PROSPERITY CAMPAIGN
Terms & Conditions

  1. The terms and conditions set below apply to the Sony Life Financial Advisers Pte. Ltd. (“SLFA”) Q1 2021 Prosperity Campaign (“Campaign”) which runs from 15th Jan 2021 to 28th Feb 2021 (both dates inclusive).
  2. Subject to the terms and conditions of the Campaign, customers who purchase any of the Qualifying Plans within the Qualifying Category (set out below) will enjoy the following benefits:


    Note: Annual Premium refers to the total premiums payable per policy year including the premiums payable for any attaching riders and premium loading.
  3. This Campaign is open to customers who purchased a Qualifying Plan under the Qualifying Category as set out in the table above under clause 2(a), 2(b), 2(c) and 2(d).
  4. The qualifying criteria are as follows:
    • Single Premium Plans
      • Minimum premium purchase ≥$10,000 (for all single premium plans),
      • ≥ 5 years policy term (for non-investment linked plans), and
      • Excludes purchases using CPF funds
    • Protection Plan
      • Premium paying term ≥ 5 years, and
      • Minimum premium purchase ≥$1,500 Annual Premium
    • Saving (Endowment) Plan
      • Premium paying term ≥ 5 years, and
      • Minimum premium purchase ≥$1,500 Annual Premium
    • All policy applications must be submitted between 15th Jan 2021 to 28th Feb 2021 (both dates inclusive) and policy must be issued by 31st Mar 2021.
  5. Products/purchases excluded from the Campaign are as follows:
    • All Accident and Health products
    • All general insurance products
  6. Each qualifying plan is eligible for the benefit corresponding to the benefits for that Qualifying Plan. For the avoidance of doubt, premiums cannot be combined across multiple Qualifying Plans. In the event that the premium rebate is applied more than once for any Qualifying Plan, SLFA reserves the right to recover the full value of any additional premium from the customer.
  7. SLFA will credit the premium to customer based on the policy issuance date as set out in the table below, provided that the policy is in-force as of the date of remittance.

  8. The premium rebate will be credited into the policyholder’s PayNow account, registered with a Singapore Identification Number (NRIC) or Foreign Identification Number (FIN).
  9. For customers without a valid PayNow account, the payment will be remitted to the policyholder’s bank account. The customer must provide an original copy of the most recent bank statement or bank book for verification purpose, SLFA will retain a photocopy of the statement or bank book.
  10. The customer will be notified of the remittance by way of either a SMS (the preferred option), email or post (for those without email account). SLFA will not be responsible for any non-receipt of the notification should there be a change of contact number, email address or mailing address of the customer.
  11. Proof of credit into PayNow or remittance to the bank account posting shall be deemed as conclusive evidence of remittance.
  12. SLFA shall not be responsible for any loss of bank interest for any delay of remittance.
  13. The premium rebate is not transferable nor assignable in part or in whole.
  14. The Campaign is solely organised for purchases made under the SLFA brand name. Participating in the Campaign will not preclude customers from enjoying other offers, bundles or promotions offered separately by the insurers during the Campaign Period unless specifically stated.
  15. If the customer:
    • cancels or surrenders the Qualifying Plan, or the Qualifying Plan lapse(s);
    • replaces the Qualifying Plan; or
    • downgrades the plan type and/or deals with the Qualifying Plan in any way which reduces the total premium payable;

    within twelve (12) months from the date of issue of the Qualifying Plan, the customer shall return the value of the premium rebate to SLFA. This shall include downgrading, cancellation or termination initiated by the insurer.
  16. SLFA reserves the right to all legal recourse and/or compensation for the recovery of premium rebate from customer if policy is downgraded, cancelled, or terminated within 12 months from date of issue of the Qualifying Plan.
  17. Staff purchases are excluded from participating in the campaign.
  18. SLFA reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions or withdraw the Campaign or any products from the Campaign at any time without prior notice. The decision of SLFA on all matters relating to this Campaign shall be final and binding on all customers.
  19. By participating in the Campaign, the customer agrees and consents to SLFA and its related corporations (collectively, the “Companies”), as well as their respective representatives, agents, authorised service providers and relevant third parties, collecting, using and/or disclosing personal data, for purposes reasonably required by the Companies to administer the Campaign and such other purposes as described in SLFA Privacy Statement which is accessible from SLFA website, which the customer confirmed, have read and understood.
  20. SLFA reserves the right to use the Campaign for its marketing, promotional and advertising purposes. These shall include all forms of social media, video, news media or any publicity media channel as SLFA deems fit. By participating in the campaign, the customer is deemed to have given consent to SLFA to use his/her personal information, testimony, photographs, or videos for such purposes.
  21. The terms and conditions of this Campaign shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.

2021 PROSPERITY CAMPAIGN LUCKY DRAW
Terms & Conditions

  1. This promotion (“Lucky Draw”) is organised by SONY LIFE FINANCIAL ADVISERS PTE LTD (“SLFA”) and is open to all customers who purchase any qualified life insurance plans within the promotion period.
  2. Lucky Draw Promotion period is from 15th January 2021 to 28th February 2021 (“promotion period”), both dates inclusive.
  3. To participate in the Lucky Draw, the customer must purchase a qualified life insurance policy from SLFA within the promotion period. The policy must be accepted by the insurance company and remained in force at the Lucky Draw date.
  4. The qualifying criteria for the life insurance plans and minimum premium to participate in the Lucky Draw promotion are as follows:
    • For Single Premium Plans
      • Minimum $20,000 premium per policy, and
      • Policy term of 5 years or more.
    • For Regular Premium Plans
      • Minimum $1,500 Annualised Premium per policy, and
      • 5 years or more premium payment terms.
    • All policy applications must be submitted between 15th Jan 2021 to 28th Feb 2021 (both dates inclusive) and policy must be issued by 31st Mar 2021.
  5. Insurance plans excluded from the Lucky Draw are as follows:
    • All accident and health products
    • Products purchased using CPF Funds
    • All general insurance products
  6. The lucky draw coupon shall contain the following information:
    • Serial number of the lucky draw coupon;
    • Name of policyowner;
    • Mobile contact number;
    • Email address.
  7. The number of lucky draw coupons allocated to a customer will be based on the amount of premiums paid by the customer in the purchase. The customer shall be entitled to one lucky draw coupon for every multiple of $1,500 annualised premiums (for regular premium plan) and one lucky draw coupon for every multiple of $20,000 premiums (for single premium plans). There is no limit on the number of lucky draw coupon each customer can be entitled to.
  8. Premiums cannot be combined across multiple insurance policies to qualify for the Lucky Draw.
  9. Every customer is entitled to one winning prize only. The winning prize shall be the prize that was first drawn in the customer’s name. The customer will not be entitled to any other prizes that was drawn subsequently to his/her name.
  10. The Lucky Draw will be held in LiveLife office at 3 Gateway Drive, #03-21 Westgate, Singapore 608532 (“Westgate office”) on 1pm, 16 April 2021.
  11. A total of 10 prizes will be awarded in the Lucky Draw Promotion. The prizes are as follows:

  12. Issued lucky draw coupons will be deposited into the lucky draw box in Westgate office. All issued coupons must be validated by SLFA at the close of the promotion period and before the date of lucky draw. A valid lucky draw coupon shall mean that the purchase of policy plan(s) which the coupon(s) was issued to, must have been accepted by the insurance company and remained in force at the date of the draw.
  13. The CEO of SLFA will conduct the lucky draw and witnessed by the auditor.
  14. The first coupon drawn from the box shall be designated the 10th prize and the second coupon drawn shall be designated the 9th prize and so on, till the 10th and last coupon drawn which shall be designated the 1st prize. If a customer’s name is drawn a second time, that customer is only entitled to the prize that was first drawn in his/her name. No customer can be awarded more than one prize in the lucky draw promotion.
  15. SLFA reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to conduct the Lucky Draw by any mode in such circumstances as it deems appropriate.
  16. Winners will be notified within 7 days after the draw date via telephone, post and/or email, using the contact details provided by the customer.
  17. The prize monies will be issued in a banker’s order in the policyowner’s name. All prize winners will be notified by post and email to come to Westgate office to collect the prize monies.
  18. All winners shall acknowledge the receipt of prize monies in the prescribed form.
  19. Prizes are not transferable or assignable. SLFA accepts no responsibility for any tax or other liability that may arise from the prize winnings.
  20. SLFA reserves the right to all legal recourse and/or compensation for the recovery of prize monies from customer if policy is downgraded, cancelled or terminated within 12 months from date of issue of the Qualifying Plan.
  21. All prizes which are not won or remain unclaimed after 2 months of the announcement of the winners shall be donated to the Community Chest or to such other approved charity.
  22. Participation in the Lucky Draw is subject to these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”). Entry into this Lucky Draw shall be deemed as acceptance of these T&Cs, including any amendments, additions, replacements, variations and modifications thereto. By entering the Lucky Draw, participants agree to be bound by and to comply with the T&Cs.
  23. In the event of any inconsistency between these T&Cs and the terms of any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Lucky Draw, these T&Cs shall prevail.
  24. Employees of SLFA and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Lucky Draw Promotion.
  25. SLFA may at any time at its sole and absolute discretion, without notice or assigning any reason therefore: (a) substitute, withdraw, add to or alter any of the prizes; (b) suspend, withdraw or terminate the Lucky Draw; or (c) delete, vary, supplement, amend or modify these T&Cs in such manner as SLFA deems fit, including without limitation, the eligibility of participants, the bases and methods of identification of any winner(s) and any dates in connection with the Lucky Draw, the Lucky Draw period, number of draws and Lucky Draw dates. SLFA shall not, to the extent permitted by law, be liable to for any claims, costs, expenses, loss or damage suffered by any person as a result of the aforementioned changes. Any amendments to the T&Cs will be posted on the SLFA website (www.sonylifefa.com.sg).
  26. SLFA’s decision on all matters regarding the Lucky Draw is final, conclusive and binding, and no enquiries or appeals, either verbal or written, shall be entertained. All customers including the winner(s) shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by SLFA concerning, without limitation, these T&Cs, the rules, procedures and regulations of the Lucky Draw, the award of prizes and any other matters relating to the Lucky Draw.
  27. Customers shall not, without the prior written approval of SLFA, speak to the press or any other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Lucky Draw.
  28. Each Lucky Draw winner consents to SLFA disclosing and/or publishing his/her name, and/or photographs in any manner which SLFA may deem fit for publicity purposes. Each Winner agrees to co-operate with and participate in any advertising or publicity activities conducted by SLFA relating to the Lucky Draw.
  29. By participating in the Lucky Draw, customers are deemed to have agreed with SLFA’s data protection and privacy policy with regards to the collection, processing, use, disclosure of any personal data which it may obtain during this promotion.
  30. All contact details provided pursuant to the Lucky Draw may be used by SLFA in its sole discretion for future marketing related programs. Without prejudice to these T&Cs, all customers in the Lucky Draw expressly and irrevocably permit and authorise SLFA to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding their particulars to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Lucky Draw.
  31. These T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
